enjoyable things from this weekend

1. eating gelato in the park with my housemates

2. wandering round the shops on my own listening to kings of leon

3. pancakes in bed

4. looking a pretty pictures for research 

5. making sunday night pie

just little snippets of my weekend, it was a quiet one with me mainly pottering about and enjoying the sun shine (which was bloody glorious) and eating too much (the norm) oh and rekindling my addiction to keeping up with the kardashians

lose yourself to dance.

today i thought i would do something a little different to my usual instagram update, as sometimes i like to mix it up round here (sometimes, don't worry i won't go all miley on you)

annyywaayyyy today i wanted to just share a list of things that make me happy and some pictures that i've been snapping on my ol' mobile device lately, nothing crazy eh. 

1. returning to the dip dye gang, thus having good hair days again (which is aided by buying a blow-dry brush!)

2. baking, i won't get to do it so much now i'm back in so'ton but that makes it even more of a treat.

3. deciding on my dissertation subject, now i've just got to write the bugger (and research the hell outta it!)

4. roast dinners, one of my favourite things in life.

5. dinner and movie dates with jay, an oldie but a goodie.

6. having time to make egg and soldiers before uni.

7. it getting a bit chillier and thus being acceptable to crack out the knitwear, awwyyeaa.

8. my new converse which i have not taken of since purchasing them!

9. ikea dates with liss and being reunited with the 82 ladies.

10. doing incredibly bad dancing with my house mates (well their good, i'm not) all with the aid of vodka, no judging i'm a student...

it gets more confusing everyday.

i thought as i had given you a tour of my uni room  (after allot of unpacking) thought it was time to do one of my essex bedroom, so welcome along and enjoy being nosey!

i love having lots of pictures, tickets and letters on my pinboards as well as cards dotted round my room (it was my birthday yesterday so more cards than usual) 

i hope you enjoyed having a peek at my room, i tired to take a nice picture of my bed but the light wasn't working but i have this bad boy (i call it the princess bed) 

just realised i own quite a few pink things, i'm not even a pink kind of girl....

also the moose (i think he's a moose) is called bruce, he's a fruity kinda guy and watches over me when i sleep.

as it was my birthday yesterday i thought i might do a little post/video on the things i got?

and fingers crossed i can pick up my iPhone tomorrow!!

like the city that nurtured my greed and my pride.

when receiving a text from jenny 'my house, friday. no if's not but's no coconuts' i was surprised by a little tea party from my best chums as an early birthday celebration.

jade and jenny got my a beautiful mug (see above) and a VERY floral picture frame and i have already filled (big fan of a picture frame)

i handed in my last pieces of work for second year which is scary and a relief all at the same time. 

i am now so ready to curl up with all the magazines i haven't had time to read and a bar of dairy milk oreo that my beautiful house mate gave me to cheer me up

tomorrow will consist of packing up all my stuff and trying to eat all the food in my fridge

just a little summery outfit i popped on today for a cheeky staryb's, just realised i look a bit preggers but whatcha' gonna do.

i trying to write some essays for uni (essays are the poorest thing ever) so i'm being a grouchy gretta about it and doing as many things as possible not to do it. 

i also made a video for the first time today, i sound allot posher than normal (nathalie said i was using my parent voice)

bonjour!

as you can tell from the gazillion photographs i have just bombarded your eyes with that i have been on a petie trip to paris (ite i'll stop with the french now) i left on tuesday and got back this afternoon.

a family newman trip is never complete without staying with some sort of friends and relatives so we stayed in our friends beautiful eighteenth century flat, as well as our friends we were welcomed by their dog calcium (best dog name evz) if you look carefully at the picture of him you can see he sports a fine moustache (you can also twist his hair into a unicorn horn...)

as a fam' we have visited paris a few times before we didn't do the usual touristy business (well the eiffel tower has to be done...) well things that were a little less touristy.

we went to chateau de vincennes for some history fun and made friends with the castle cat, standard. 

we still manage to have some shenanigans on the metro but between papa n's and my linguist skills we didn't go the wrong way...too much..ahem.

i also managed to slip in a cheeky trip to laduree, and that my friends is something that needs to be experienced.

so after a few jam packed (well nutella) days i am glad to be back in my bed, it is a little lonely though as jay has left me for a fossil geeks field trip (i didn't have to share my macaroons thought muhaha) so i'm going to curl up with my french magazines and my macaroon baby.
