hello lovelies

this weekend i made lots of food and cuddled under the duvet with my favourite boy (soppy liv...) 

after last thursdays shenanigans with uni the next day i really didn't feel like doing too much, however i had my first shift in the southampton crew which was so busy compared to little saffron walden!

today i was veerrryyyy naughty and went for a nandos for lunch with e and her boyf but the weather is naff so i justified it in my head somehow...

i ordered my new winter coat, now i have to wait 20-24 days impatiently for it.

i feel like all i wear is the same things at the moment, has everyone enjoyed my latest outfit posts or are they a bit dull?

hello lovelies

i have been shopping for my second year, i got all the important bits last year so this time rounds its a tad cheaper (apart from having to pay rent for my house over the last three months, hence why i've been working all the time)

i thought i would share some tips for those of you who haven't left yet.

1. poundland and the 99p shop are your best friends, the other day i got a clock for ninety nine pence (lets hope it works). its so useful for getting baking trays, pastry brushes, saucepans and frying pans from, especially as if you lose them (as you will in halls) then you can replace them cheaply! however i did have nice mugs and no one was allowed to use them as well as my plates and bowels which were also pretty (it just makes eating nicer, especially if you like pretty things)

2. wilkinsons, QD and the range are good for pretty but practical things (primark also do nice tea towels and decorations)

3. do be ashamed to get items from the children's section, i got some bunting and a bin which are lovely!

4. don't skimp on duvet, pillows, covers ect, they will be the things you spend most of your life in.

5. when your parents take you on a 'big shop' get those HUGE bags of pasta, powdered milk and teabags, they will be your lifesavers when you have just three pounds to your name (no joke it happens) but also get meat and freeze it as its bloody expensive, unless you live off eighty nine pence sausages like i did.

6. take big packets of washing powder and fabric softener and vanish (those red wine staines don't just disappear)  LEARN HOW TO USE A WASHING MACHINE, you will be everyones best friend (as well as being able to cook) you'll be surprised at how many people cannot do washing. 

7. ikea is god of storage, you will need it.

the boy went off to london for his first year yesterday (feels like he's been gone longer), he's doing geology the clever clogs.

hello lovelies!

hope you're all well and are having a wonderful summer, i am trying to get my brain round the fact that i'm going back to uni in under a month (ahhhh second year panic panic!)

1. i didn't take very many pictures on our seaside adventure because i was having such a lovely time, i know its very unlike me but i go back quite often so next time i go i will show you how beautiful it is there. we stayed at my aunty and uncles campsite which i highly recommend (not bias..honest!)

2 & 3. mama bought these lovelies back from her trip to the edinburgh festival (so jel', its my favourite holiday) 

4. surprise surprise liv chose a cream knitted jumper as part of her work uniform...classic.

5. when the boy and i were visiting my family in norfolk on our seaside adventure i picked up this little gem in a shop called indigo bay. 

6. liss gave me my very late birthday gift (my birthday is in may) but never late than better, especially if its cath kidston!

7. i decided it was time for a new purse i have had my tweed old lady one for four years and it still faintly smells like cat (i think i new purse is a good omen for being better with money)

1 & 2: cheeky little cath kidson sale purchases, i couldn't resist the plate as it is toast sized which will be perfect for uni, as its all i seem to eat there and it won't break if i drop it (butter fingers! hahaaa...no liv that wasn't a funny joke) annyywaaayyy i also though this little mirror was lovely as my current bag mirror i've had since year ten or something and its a bit tired!

3: this mug was a gift from the boys brother as a late birthday present, the boys mama and i have a weakness for anything emma bridgewater! 

4: a little pay day treat that was only a tenner so i felt it was okay, its so sparkly and cute plus i don't really own many tops for some strange reason.

this is a scheduled post as i'm in poland, probably hiding from the sun and reading too much!

i seem to be a one post a week girl at the moment.

i'm just packing for my holiday (will stop banging on about it soon) my essential items are suncream (pale fo' life), sunglasses, iPod, book, passport (obvz) and my camera, apart from clothes thats all i really need to chill in the sun with my boy. 

i will be back on the twenty second, i am not organised enough to have set up guest posts but i will do that for when i go to poland in august so if anyones interested give me a shout!

hello lovelies!

hope everyones had a good week and enjoying the weekend.

as some of you may have read i have had a very busy week (for once, oh the life of an unemployed student, but i'm working on it) the latter part of my week wasn't quite as hectic, i did my normal trip to the mad lands of grandparents vile, the boy stayed round and we watched madagascar 2 (oh so funny, even if i did fall asleep...it was the beer okay...) 

mama took me out to the cafe that i had applied to but not got the job at (just rub it mama, rub it in) however the food was proper tasty so my embarrassment was forgotten.

today i finally built up the courage and enthusiasm to apply for two jobs and write cover letters for both (i am not the best at talking about myself in a non jokey kind of way but the boy, papa and berry were all great helps!)

tonight granny is taking us out to dinner which will be lovely and the weather is just about okay enough to wear something nice. 

i have reached two hundred followers as well! 

so a big huge massive thank you and lots of kisses go to charlie and katy for being massive babes and featuring me on their blogs over the last week, and to you old and new followers you all get big kisses as well!

little bitty pretty one i've been watchin' you grow.

hello lovelies!

apologies to anyone who saw this post saturday and it didn't have any writing (i forgot to unschedule it), my own silly fault!

i was at the boys about to write it but got distracted by tea, toast and getting dressed (ironic huh?) 

i've had a really lovely few days, friday i went for lunch with the lovely hester, chole and mama too prezzo and then went swimming with the boy (well more splashing)

saturday i went for a BBQ at the boys best friends house and drank too much pimms, walked (staggered) to anunty jens drank more pimms and fell up a step in front of my family (tres embarrassing)  so now a have two big bruises on my knee and hip, silly liv!

i thought i would show you lovely lot a few of my presents, (two were from myself...) 

the first was actually a present that papa got, but i have adopted it as its an emma bridgewater jubilee mug and its beautiful!

i treated myself to a new red lipstick 'ruby tuesday' by maxfactor (i wish i had the job naming lipsticks). 

one of my best friends, berry gave a this beautiful fox ring, although we were joking that it looks like the 'crack fox' in the mighty boosh. 

papa won a raffle the other day and i got given the perfume prize, this was fab because we never win anything and i had ran out of perfume (the boy loves the smell of it as well, so good show all round i feel)

i had got myself some loafers a while ago but they where too small. being a five and a flipping half size shoe means buying shoes from the internet is a bit of a risk so i finally got round to ordering a six and will be selling my other pair soon.

i used to have it all.

hello lovlies

i braved the broken lift and walked down and then back up the seven flights of stairs to collect my asos package (living on the seventh floor is a curse and a blessing) but it was totally worth it as i got my lovely sale purchase, the perfect aran knit jumper. i was ummming and arring about it but the lovely charlie said it would go with everything, so i went for it! 

i have been working hard with uni work (hence my little absence, sorry) but been rewarding my self with my favourite treats and magazines (every things handed in, so fingers crossed for positive feedback!)

ever since i started uni i have been eating so many eggs! i think its because they're easy to make and I'm a lazy cook...

i found out I'm not going home till the eighteenth, even though i only have a few sessions left and uni this year, but luckily i will be back just in time for my birthday (nineteen going on nine) i do wish i was coming back a bit earlier though. 

i have been thinking about setting up a facebook page for my photography, but something keeps holding me back. do any of you have a page for your photography, do you like it? 

i just wanted to say a little hello and thank you to my new followers and lots of love to my already faithful ones, all your comments make my day! 

hope everyone is enjoying this little burst of sunshine between the torrential rain (did think i might need some sort of canoe to go to the shops the other day...)

just a few bits that i treated myself to today, i instantly fell in love with this dress as soon as i walked into primark (makes me look like a lady ohhlala). 

to be honest i don't know why i buy nail varnish because i am so utterly terrible at painting my nails, i think i get draw in by the pretty packaging and the delicious colours. 

i am also like that with magazines (but don't worry i can read and i do find them useful) just a sucker for pretty things!

it is so good to be home, back in my new room (just needs decorating but more on the

i went to see my mama in a play at the weekend and the boy came too, i was so very proud of her!

on sunday the boy and i went to london to get him a suit for the ball, he looked sharp in pinstripe! we walked along southbank (forget how lovely it is every time i go) i took some pictures on film so when i have the pennies to get them developed i will share them.

since i got back i've been riding my horse and doing uni work in the sunshine, so lush.

being the twit i am i left the perfect bag for the ball on friday back in so'ton and none of my bags here go with my outfit so let the panic happen (such a girl)

my charity shop successes, i have been looking for a skater style dress for AGES and founds this bad boy in british heart foundation (i wear it backwards to get that high front and scoop back look) i also found this 100% silk top (a very cheeky £3.99). 

i got a letter from my cousin yesterday and she included a 'barbers chart' to go with my love of all things moustache related. 

i have been busy reading for uni (yes elle and company are included.....) also a cheeky picture of me in a hat because I'm procrastinating and i don't have the guts to wear this hat out. 

i promise i will be back to posting more regularly now (bad liv!) 

right now I'm eating ice cream out of the (large) tub and gearing myself up to getting my head round e-portfolio.
