how lush was the weather in laaaandan today!?

although the wind was not my friend in the hair department as you can see...

despite being pretty bruised at battered after falling down some stairs on thursday (my left leg is a mess) this weekend has been so so lovely.

jay and i went out for dinner last night for an early anniversary meal (two years next sunday eek!) we went to jamies italian at westfield stratford and i highly recommend the early grey martinis, ahhhmaaazzziinnggg!

today we fully embraced the sunshine today with a big bowl of fruit for breakfast on the balcony, a walk in victoria park, a glass of pimms (first one of the year in that pub apparently!) ice cream and emergency sandal buying!

bonjour!

as you can tell from the gazillion photographs i have just bombarded your eyes with that i have been on a petie trip to paris (ite i'll stop with the french now) i left on tuesday and got back this afternoon.

a family newman trip is never complete without staying with some sort of friends and relatives so we stayed in our friends beautiful eighteenth century flat, as well as our friends we were welcomed by their dog calcium (best dog name evz) if you look carefully at the picture of him you can see he sports a fine moustache (you can also twist his hair into a unicorn horn...)

as a fam' we have visited paris a few times before we didn't do the usual touristy business (well the eiffel tower has to be done...) well things that were a little less touristy.

we went to chateau de vincennes for some history fun and made friends with the castle cat, standard. 

we still manage to have some shenanigans on the metro but between papa n's and my linguist skills we didn't go the wrong way...too much..ahem.

i also managed to slip in a cheeky trip to laduree, and that my friends is something that needs to be experienced.

so after a few jam packed (well nutella) days i am glad to be back in my bed, it is a little lonely though as jay has left me for a fossil geeks field trip (i didn't have to share my macaroons thought muhaha) so i'm going to curl up with my french magazines and my macaroon baby.

happy easter chums!

my easter consisted of having two roasts in one day (jay and i rolled into the car from one to the other) and lots of laughs with family.

i've been at work today, someone brought in a twelve week old sausage dog ohhhhmmaaagaawwd it was the cutest thing i have ever seen!

i'm off to paris tomorrow with the fam' (if our tickets actually decide to download) i really need to pack!

and yes i've just eaten all of my easter egg, i know you have too.

hello homeslices!

so looky who finally got a hair cut!

i seem to be getting the habit of popping into sainsburys (its in the same building as the car park) and buying baking things, i picked up a macaroon kit today! (yes, my life is very exciting) 

i was having a mooch in westfield waiting for jay to finish work and spotted this trench, i've wanted one for what feels like since the dawn of time so i decide that this baby would be mine. 

i've been chain watching the O.C. (so so obsessed) and its making me wish england wasn't so snowy and horrible right now, gimme sunshine!

1. driving on a rainy sunday with the radio up nice and loud (don't worry i was parked, pwomise)

2. arriving home (essex home) to pretty catalogues and picking up the latest company with one of my girl crushes on the font, emma stone what a babe!

3. mama made cake for mine and jays arrival home, big fan of come home to cake and cuddles.

4. tea in my own bed, nothing quite beats it (repping all the cath kidston there...)

5. pretty flowers around the house make even gloomy weather a bit brighter!

hello amigos!

i have been home for a few days as i've started my eaters holibobs. 

its been a pretty busy but chilled weekend, visiting family and lots of food (obvz) 

i got home from jays last night and legally blonde was on the telly, so that plus a glass of red wine was a perfect sunday evening!

this week with the GFC shenanigans i've had a few more of you follow me on bloglovin' but i'm still missing about 200 of you, where you at?
