you shine like silver in the sunlight.

so today is a kind of haul post, as i have pretty poor since i went on holiday i haven't purchased that much but i have been given a few lovely things you know everyone loves a good haul.
i like to sing haulin' haulin' haulin' like the song that goes rollin' rollin' rollin' i know you just wasted a couple of seconds of your life reading that but now it will probably be in your head muhahaha!
and to add to my poorness i got a bloody parking ticket last week (bye bye sixty five pounds, it was nice having you in my bank account for a brief time)
so lets get on with it then...

i've linked up all the items or similar things so you don't have to go trawling about for them, i'm a good egg like that.
you can see me wearing some of the things on my instagram @livvychristine however i have some outfit posts in the pipe line if the weather decides not to rain for a few minutes!
also this morning right after eliza doolittles live lounge cover fern cotton read out my tweet, cue fangirling ALL over the shop!
apart from that not much exciting has been happening in life, i'm sure moving back to hampton of the south on sunday will provide me with many shenanigans to relay to you (lets hope its not falling down the stairs like last time....)

good luck to anyone starting uni or going back (awawaa third year is poo your pants scary thought!)

so what would so you say if you went to the natural history museum on a friday night and they had, alcohol, food, live music and no line to see the dinosaurs. hellz yea, is what you would say (and i did say when jay suggested it)

now the lack of lines for the dino's is because of the lack of tiny people, don't get me wrong i like tiny people but not all in one line shouting and being grumpy (although i'm sure there are some angels in there too and i was probably one of the grumpy ones when i was little) this happened at christmas when we went, resulting in not seeing my favourite bit of the dinosaur that moves and roars (you know its the best bit)

anyways, with glass of pimms in one hand and boyfriend in the other (well his hand, i'm not that strong...) we wandered round one of my favourite buildings and i got several geology lessons (as per) and i spent longer than you should at the roary t-rex.
the food was lush however trying to eat a pitta bread filled to the brim with salad and lamb is no easy/elegant task, i tell you this for free. darn eager beavers had snapped up all available seats.

to be fair i fit in more with the children rather than the swanky grown ups that where there.
an example of  this (from christmas as my hair was a funny colour then)

oh shush i know you all secretly enjoyed that...and yes i was pretending to be in a small earthquake..

you can see when the next event is here, appaza they do them at the science museum too and i have it on good authority that they have a silent disco, think i need to get my fifty year old dad moves down to that bad boy.

i fell in love with the full skirted tulle wedding dress, sarah said she would elope with me so i can wear it....
the party was in the loveliest cafe called drink me eat me i really really want to go back in the day for lunch as it was beaauuutttttiffuullll (although it is an hour tube journey from me) but the fact that the fro' yo machines were in a little house is more than enough to tempt me back!
plus sarah and i somehow managed to win the quiz (which was very tricky, made me glad i actually paid attention in my fashion history lectures)

i've met some one who make me feel sea sick.

ootd crew clothing
jeans : topshop
loafers : ebay
glasses : glasses direct

just cracking out my new glasses that make me look like a fifteen year old hipster again, to be fair they are temporary ones as my voucher for GD was running out but i need a new prescription, welcome to my complicated life eh! (please note the sarcasm)
this top is one of my new uniform pieces for work, its pretty sheer (by pretty, i mean allot) but i still luuurve it. you can't see from this picture but its covered in pretty little flowers, plus it purple, lush.
now i'm off to watch tin tin and eat cake after my recent discovery and love of the great british bake off, to everyones surprise and shock i had never watched it before (its bloody brilliant and i want sue to be my bestie)

p.s. just incase you didn't grasp it i purchased the top with my uniform allowance so it kind deserved an asterix as i didn't actually pay for it, okay we got that...good.

i couldn't resist sharing these photographs of taitti and bolli two very cute sausage dogs that belong to one of mama newmans gardening clients!
they're very cheeky and like to get as many cuddles as possible, just look at those eyes!

being so bloody poor recently i haven't got any clothes to blog about hence the slight silence, which i know its a poo excuse but normal service will return shortly.

i'm guest postin' with jay over at little winter today, so head on over for a cheeky peak.

decided that once again i was just dreaming.

the kettle shed review
loose leaf tea - the kettle shed*

last week the lovely zoe who runs the kettle yard, a website that specialises in selling loose leaf tea (the website is so cute!) asked me if i wanted to review some tea, well you know this was a no brainer for me!
the variety they sell is huuugeeee; black, green, oolong, jasmine, white, blooming, fruit and herbal. i love they little tins they come in as well, mama has put them amongst the pretty things on our kitchen windowsill.

the kettle shed review

enjoying a brew in our jazzy kitchen, i'm a big fan of our multicoloured union jack tablecloth, tea tastes better in a nice mug (espesh' if it has a map on it!)

the kettle shed review

brew time: three to four minutes
this is a black tea that can be enjoyed with milk or a slice of lemon (i prefer milk)
it has a distinct tangy and slightly smokey taste, it won't convert me from my earl grey but it was a nice change.

brew time: five to ten minutes
this smells beaauutttiful, you can really taste the mango in it and its worth waiting that little bit longer to get the full flavour.

the kettle shed review

brew time: five to ten minutes
this is a very bold tasting tea, the strawberry is very prominent and the after taste is lovely and a bit tangy.

brew time: one to three minutes
this is very refreshing and light, the smell is gorgeous. zoe also told me it was lovely cold, i can confirm this especially with a few ice cubes!
