i pretty much stalked this skirt on the new look website and then decided if it was in the shop i could have it (anyone have things like that, you know just to justify it...)

after seeing the beautiful jazmine and mel rocking leather skirts in a casual way i thought i want to get in on this malarkey!

thing will be a bit quiet on the blogging front up to christmas (not that they haven't anyway, sorry chums) just that third year is just full on.

you can pretty much rely on me to make silly faces when portraits are involved, its only natural i belong behind the camera really!

its still lovely and autumny (but cold) in so'ton and the parks look beautiful, especially when the sun shines but it does make me miss the fields.

this shirt finally arrived yesterday after waiting a month for it, my own fault as it was from ebay/china, but it was worth the wait as i am in lurrrvveeee. admittedly it is a but static so it sticks to me a bit, other than that it is perfect!

also look who actually did their hair today, that will not be a regular thing my friends (i am way too lazy with my hair)

today i went for a mooch round town with jen and met jade for a starbucks, vanilla hot chocolates are new fave! jays coming down for the weekend so i'm sure you'll see any of our adventures via instagram.

sorry long time no speak, well it feels like a long time!

i've been busy mainly going to the library but its also been full of halloween, surprise parties, journeys back to the fields, trips to the breakfast club, wandering round covent garden, shopping at spitalfields market, family dinners, house come dine with me and then more library trips (third year fun eh)

i've been pretty much living in this trench and chelsea boot combo, and then came to the realisation that i do actually suit hats. i feel more comfortable wear hats in london rather than so'ton, i do think people really 'do' hats down saaaathhhhh (well its not as common, livs observation of the week..) although some are partial to a bobble, but you know what i mean.

plus its that time of the year that i can wear my tartan scarf pretty much everyday and its normal...it just goes with everything okay!

s'cuse the suitcases under my eyes, i have a new street light right outside my bedroom which is about twenty times brighter than the one before (that kept me awake anyway) mixed with very loud road drilling at eight twenty this morning makes me sleepy one!

i realised the other day i only own two short skirts, two! so this little french horn/foxy number made its way swiftly into my wardrobe after spying it in the UO sale.

it also got to the time where it was kind essential to own a flat pair of brown chelsea boots, flat because one; i walk everywhere and I'm not lady like to wear heels everyday and two brown goes with everything...plus...i do like a chelsea boot

we managed to survive the storm unscathed, our roof tiles rattled a little, but nothing dramatic.

i wasn't so sure of this dress when i got it, but now i loves it.

i wore it out the other night and i though i would crack it out to brighten up a foggy wednesday.

its fair to say we're well into the autumnal season now and dare i say it i'm getting excited for christmas (only because we were talking about it at the weekend...) 

i love getting cosy in my room with candles and a cuppa (cool kid i know) or walking on foggy mornings tucked up in a big coat!

plus autumn means jumpers, we all know my bad habit for jumpers...

with getting paid and my student loan i got a bit carried away...the converse were an investment as i have worn them everyday since i got them (which is why they look a bit scuffed)

had a matalan voucher to spend as  they were lovely and included a twenty pound voucher in our goody bags from the event!

to be fair i can't walk very well in the heels but they look puuurrddyyy, i wore them with the printed shift dress the other night and it was a very enjoyable combination.

jay came down for the weekend and we ate allot...a turtle bay (and a few too many cocktails) TWO tootis (which is a gelato bar) i take no responsibility for this..

and i made a pie aannddd it was a success! it even had pie written on it in the left over pastry!
