just some pictures of my christmas!

we have allot of birthdays around christmas in our family, it was my grandpa's on christmas eve so we went for cake and gifts at his care home. 

i had been working all day so after his birthday celebrations went home briefly so i could wake up in my own bed for christmas morning!

after opening our presents at home went went to aunty jens (whose birthday it was) for lots of food and  allot more cake and more presents. 

in the evening i went to jays but we were so tired after a crazy few days work before christmas that after his family went home we just went to sleep!

on boxing day mama and papa picked me up and we all head to my aunty and uncles in norfolk, i always forget how beautiful (but windy!) it is there plus the cousin abuse i get (its out of love really)

i've been a glasses wearer for almost five years, i am pretty naughty and only wear them when i really need to like in lectures or when driving. the lovely jess at myoptique emailed me just i was musing that after two years it was probably time for a new prescription. 

i picked the bakerloo frames, the slight cat eye compliments my moon face nicely!

i decided that i needed a smart winter coat and when taking a jumper back at primark (note; i do not suit fluffy jumpers, i just look silly in them) i spotted this bad boy that ticked all my boxes.

navy and gold just look SO good together! 

teamed with my trust stole that comes out every winter, however it is getting a little worn these days.

in love with fashion kindly sent me this beautiful berry coloured dress, perfect for the autumnal colours that are still lurking about. 

i am so so excited to go home for christmas on friday, its been a full on term (which hasn't finished, one more hand in)

thing will be a bit quiet on the blogging front up to christmas (not that they haven't anyway, sorry chums) just that third year is just full on.

you can pretty much rely on me to make silly faces when portraits are involved, its only natural i belong behind the camera really!

its still lovely and autumny (but cold) in so'ton and the parks look beautiful, especially when the sun shines but it does make me miss the fields.

this shirt finally arrived yesterday after waiting a month for it, my own fault as it was from ebay/china, but it was worth the wait as i am in lurrrvveeee. admittedly it is a but static so it sticks to me a bit, other than that it is perfect!

also look who actually did their hair today, that will not be a regular thing my friends (i am way too lazy with my hair)

today i went for a mooch round town with jen and met jade for a starbucks, vanilla hot chocolates are new fave! jays coming down for the weekend so i'm sure you'll see any of our adventures via instagram.
