so i've been felling a little summery recently, which basically means wearing sandals with my usual jeans and jumper uniform. 

the lovely people at brantano offered to aid my in my fickle sandal collection, being a creature of habit they are obviously tan leather (its a hard habit to break okay!)

they pretties will be gracing my feet regularly throughout the summer, plus they have a little bit of a heel which makes me feel all fancy!

i've never really dabbled in mineral make up before, i've already been a liquid foundation kinda gal however in a bid to avoid my skin going back to the state it was at christmas i have been looking into make up thats kind to my skin, in steps the english mineral make up company. 

our lovely family friends jeanette and grace have founded a makeup company, with all the products being vegan and chemical free, including the brushes (which is pretty cool, non?) 

the makeup is a dream to wear, i basically feel like i'm not wearing any foundation but it covers my blemishes and red tones a treat. the blush is the prefect shade to compliment my ghostly skin and a little goes a long way. 

plus the packing is super pretty, anything that involves the combination of cream, pink and ribbons. i'm in!

instagram update

my 10k run is coming up on bank holiday monday so i've been running through notting hill after work and stopping to take pictures of the pretty houses (more like catch my breath) which makes people give me funny looks!

it was my birthday on wednesday so this week i have eaten allot of cake and macaroons, have also  brought myself flowers several times (under the excuse of my birthday)  

i have been going on little browses to the shops recently and looking at cute things i can't afford/ pretty dresses that i need to chose from for a wedding i'm going to.

today i turned the grand old age of twenty two! 

it has been spent wandering round covent garden with jay munching on macaroons and hiding from the rain (i will be celebrating in style on sunday with cocktails and cake) 

it has also been spent singing taylor swift, its pretty much illegal not to isn't it...

now i'm eating pizza in my pj's because thats how we party in our household!

i also took my new american eagle outfitters jeans for a spin, which i see myself living in for the foreseeable future!

swans and sunshine.

normally i go to hyde park sweating and looking like a tomato (basically running, kinda...) however i haven't actually been for a proper look, so on a sunny monday we went exploring and pretty much stalked swans for photos, from a safe distance, some of them are the size of dogs!

this jumpsuit is one of last summers purchases but still a favourite! it pretty much makes me feel like i'm wearing my pj's plus its paisley, which is a dream combination in my book.

the kettle shed.

just incase you hadn't guessed tea is my favourite thing, ever. 

it seems people have noticed, zoe who runs the kettle shed sent me some of her beautiful tea to review. i have previously reviewed their lovely tea's, but after a little update they are back with new blends and packaging.

if you're thinking 'ohhh these look delish i must get my hands on them immediately, but do i really need more tea' the answer is yes. as for every box of the kettle shed tea is sold the company donates tea directly to homeless shelters across the uk. 

tea and a good deed, what more would you want!

carrot cake

i will start my favourite blend of rooibos and carrot cake, it is sweet without having to add sugar but its full of good things like carrot, practically salad eh! i like having the option of loose leaf tea as well as tea bags because sometimes you want to feel fancy with your cup, saucer and tea strainer.

majestic mellon

a melon and cherry blend which is right up my street, i am aaallllllll about the fruity tea's hot, iced, in some sort of baked goods, i'm there drinking/eating to my hearts content. this blend has green tea in it which is good if you have like me, eaten too much and feel like that food baby is never going to leave. a little bit of green tea sorts you right out.

kick-in coco

this chocolate and chilli blend packs a punch, it smells just like chocolate (i have taken to sniffing the cup when drinking this as it smells so good!) the taste is smooth and subtle and then BAM chilli comin' at chaaaa just after you've gulped it down (its good to imagine that sentence with really bad ninja moves).
