yesterday i went to the dreamiest pinkest wes anderson-est place ever!

possibly the most instgrammed afternoon tea spot in london, sketch is the ultimate girly dream. 

having spent our morning mooching round the V&A shoes exhibition and window shopping we excitedly (practically skipped) to sketch where all our afternoon tea dreams came true. 

we booked to have our tea in the david shrigley gallery aka pink perfection room however there are two other rooms that are as equally beautiful. 

now i don't know if it was just us but every once and awhile we just kept saying to each other 'its just so pretttyyy!' and looking round. 

we tried to take sensible adult photos in the egg toilets, however we then realised that we are not sensible adults so i will just leave you with those photos...

the food/tea/champagne mix just perfect and i highly recommend a visit if you're ever thinking of a little afternoon tea trip in old london town.

its finally coat season!

i know its a very divided feeling when autumn comes around but personally i'm all over this weather.

the first chilly day i went straight out and got myself this beauty of a coat, i feel all serena van der woodsen swishing out in it (yes that is a term). 

i especially love wandering around after work when its still light and there is a sight chill in the air, i even get off the bus a few stops earlier, plus wandering round notting hill will always be one of my favourite pass times so i like to make the most of it whilst i'm here! 

i recently picked up a few nail varnishes from tanya burrs new collection, oh good gosh are they pretty (i'm wearing duvet day in this post) but my favourite is fairy god mother (just wish i didn't chip them so quickly!)

i have returned from my french adventures!

i jetted off for my third wedding of the summer, my cousin T got married in ol' frenchy land to the beautiful S

the wedding was three days of eating and drinking (i'm pretty sure i gained a stone in those three days)

i did allot of dad dancing, this dress is ideal for it as it gives me and extra swish when i do some disco style spins, i'll just leave you with that image....

i will be back with some more of my french frolics soon, mainly me pulling silly faces and not being a serious blogger/ adult in any shape or form...

i thought i would share a few of my favourite things at the moment as i've been a little bit busy so lifestyle posts are a' brewing but take a little longer to get to you!

debenhams flowers kindly send me a beautiful bouquet, it arrived very swiftly as they offer a next day flowers and was in a big box, so i felt quite fancy going to pick it up from the porter!

the wedges were an absolute bargain at ten pounds and ideal for a wedding i am off too soon (plus super comfy!)

this benefit foundation has been a favourite for a while and a recently repurchased it, its so light yet has good coverage which ticks all boxes with me

i'm off adventuring again next week, for a little break and a wedding!

adventures in quebec.

so last week i popped over to canada with my granny for my cousin w's wedding, it was a bit of a whirlwind but i had the honour of being asked to photograph their big day!

it was lovely just to spend time with them as w's older brother is also married to a canadian girl so we don't get to see each other very often!

papa n and rob came and surprised everyone, which i had to keep a secret (we all know i am a terrible liar!) but somehow i managed to keep it under wraps till they arrived! 

the cherry on top was a horse drawn carriage ride round the old city, frank was our steed and let me cuddle him afterwards.

gina conway x miss saigon

last week i was invited to see miss saigon with gina conway, it was the loveliest evening i have had in a long time!

my favourite chum jade was my date for the evening as she loves musicals more than anyone i know.

we were invited to banana tree for a tasting menu before the show, however we only managed to squeeze in a lychee mojito before we dashed off to the theatre so i could get my nails done by one of the lovely ladies who works for prive by gina conway, all treatments can be done in the comfort of your own home or hotel room, which is pretty snazzy if you ask me. 

whilst i was having my nails done, gina herself started chatting to me and offered to do a little something to my mane, she gave me a beautiful fishtail braid! 

the show itself was amazing, jade and i were transfixed and when the show finished we couldn't stop saying how much we loved the show!
